aaron just left for his first official day as a firefighter! we kept saying this weekend that it was the last weekend of a "traditional" schedule that we will have for a long time...maybe 30 years! it was an honor to pin his badge for him on friday at his graduation ceremony (more pictures of that to follow). the 17 firefighters who graduated academy were not only in the local news but also in the fresno bee. it is strange that he is really going to be a firefighter...but wonderful! after training for almost 4 years i am happy to finally see him do the job...and i think he would agree! God has been so faithful to complete the work he began in aaron and he has been with us every step of the way. i don't just say this as a cliche...but we are convinced that we could not have done it without God's guidance, provision and stamina & the help of friends and family along the way...we are truly grateful!
