...goood distractions while waiting for baby!

little baby panfilio has not arrived yet...but we are so excited for that day to come. we cannot wait to find out if it is a boy or girl (Luke Andrew or Paige Elizabeth) and to see what it looks like. we also get the keys to our new home this week- so we are thrilled to be buying a house to bring our little baby home to! this is just after we signed our papers for the house!
we had to celebrate with food...so chili's became our "last supper" for a while now that we will have a mortgage & a baby! it was a great way to celebrate and enjoy a meal together!
last week we had several visitors...the trempers came for a few days. aaron & matt got some good fishing time in while mishawn and i had fun with elsie & carson. it was nice being auntie LaLa again!
it is really hard to believe that carson is already 6 months old! she is so cute!beau & alicia were in town and had dinner with us friday night...it was fun to talk babies (they are due with their second kid November 17th)! also, aunt FiFi came for the weekend to help us pack & to hang out. jen is always around to help when i need her- what a great sister she is. and of course izzy provided some great entertainment as well...she loves barking at aaron and playing with him. they are welcome anytime! my rash (called PUPP) has almost completely gone away...here are just a few of the items i purchased or used to try and deal with it this past month. i don't wish this thing upon my worst enemy. mishawn says she is going to start calling me "1%" because that is the percentage of women who get this crazy rash in pregnancy (and of course i had to get it)!

we'll keep you posted on the baby front!

Laura and Aaron...

I'm so happy for both of you, what a wonderful time in your life, new house, new baby...

Laura, I miss you terribly, and think of you every day as I walk past my Hydrangea in the front yard.

I can't wait for baby to get here, but am not nearly as antsy as you, I am sure.

Love ya....Lori

Laura, I stumbled on here from the Flory's website, how fun you're in Fresno now... I grew up there for 18 years, it's a good place to be a kid! Yeay for your baby coming into the world... I'll be there in a couple of weeks, maybe I'll run into you! My mom lives by Woodward Park, where are you two (three)? Blessings, Casey (now Evans)

Hi - I'm just a random reader who is very curious as to which of the many remedies you tried actually worked for the PUPP's? My wife has it and so far we can't find an effective remedy.

hmmm....PUPP help...well i can tell you the Aveno oatmeal baths helped a lot (i took at least two baths a day) and followed up with the PUPP soap and lotion from Ranier Soap Works (you can find them online). i think one of the better remedies was taking dry baking soda with a little water to make a paste and rubbing it on my skin in the bath and then rinsing it off. it would burn for a second, but it seemed to help the itching last the longest. but ultimately since i was not sleeping my doctor recommended taking Benadryl...when i finally took it about 5 nights in a row i saw my symptoms start to improve. i think i needed rest and my body needed that sleep to do the work of healing the PUPP. honestly though, i do not know what made it go away (and i am still having some itching). just be sure to check with your doctor because your wife could have a more serious condition if the rash and itching is all over her body. i had to go the hospital a few times a week and get non-stress tests and ultrasounds for the baby to make sure while they ruled out the other problem. i hope this helps and i wish your wife the best...PUPP is just miserable...i hope it clears up for her soon. *laura*
